The Moncrief Cancer Institute and UT Southwestern Medical Center provide fully-­funded mammograms for uninsured women in Glen Rose, Stephenville and Granbury once a month. What does fully­-funded mean? NO cost to YOU. The screenings are designed to help women who have a tough time getting health care – offering fully-­funded mammograms for women without insurance and those who meet eligibility guidelines. Funding in Somervell, Erath and Hood counties is provided by grants from the Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas. To schedule a mammogram – again, at NO cost to you ­ call 1­-800­-405­-7739. Screening is recommended for women age 35 and older.
